Grapes: 100% Aglianico.
Production area: Castelvenere (BN).
Cultivation method: espalier with Guyot training system.
Soil characteristics: medium clayey mixture.
Yield per hectare: 60 q.
Harvest: manual in small boxes.
Vinification: delicate pressing-destemming of the grapes with maceration and fermentation for approximately 10 days.
Aging: in French oak barrels for 18 months.
Alcoholic strength: 13% Vol.

Nose: it is a real explosion of red fruit with hints of blackberries, plums and black cherries, enriched with balsamic notes.
Taste: velvety tannins, with balanced acidity and delicate spiciness.

VINEYARDS
Our vineyards are cared for and cultivated with methods that respect the harmonious balance between man and the environment, enhancing the delicate relationship between all the components involved. They extend over an area of approximately 25 hectares in the heart of Sannio Beneventano, in an area called "Vignole", which gives its name to the company.
HARVEST
The harvest, which takes place from the end of August to the end of October, varies depending on the grape varieties. During this period, not only the permanent collaborators, but also young local workers participate in the harvest, which always takes place in an atmosphere of joyful celebration. Every phase of the manufacturing process is still conducted and followed by the tireless founder, grandfather Gino.
